After we completed the design of our flagship Reference monoblock power amplifiers, we created a need for a preamplifier with the same features and sound quality. We came up with a preamplifier design worthy of that series, the Reference PRE. Made with the care and attention detail that characterizes all products from Unison Research, the Reference PRE preamplifier is truly another milestone in audio reproduction.

The Unison Research Reference Pre is a high-end, three-chassis, vacuum tube preamplifier designed in Italy, renowned for delivering deeply immersive, organic sound with exceptional midrange and holographic imaging. It offers a pure Class A circuit, dual-mono layout, a dedicated 300B tube stage for high output, and includes a high-quality phono stage for vinyl enthusiasts.
