Anthem Room Correction (ARC®) – Optimised Sound for Your Room

The Anthem STR Integrated Amplifier features Anthem Room Correction technology, designed to optimise loudspeaker performance according to the acoustic characteristics of your listening environment.

ARC measures how your speakers interact with the room and applies acoustic correction to compensate for room-related resonances and colouration. This is particularly beneficial in the lower frequencies, where room acoustics can significantly affect bass performance.

ARC Genesis software is compatible with Mac and PC. The system also supports ARC Mobile.

Advanced Bass Management – Two Subwoofer Outputs

The STR Integrated Amplifier provides two independent subwoofer outputs, allowing flexible subwoofer configurations.

You can connect:

One subwoofer for a conventional stereo setup.

Two subwoofers operating in mono.

Two independent subwoofers, one assigned to each stereo channel.

Combined with ARC, the bass management system helps achieve seamless integration between the main speakers and subwoofers.

High-Resolution USB DAC

Connect a Windows PC or Mac directly to the STR Integrated Amplifier through its asynchronous USB audio input.

Supported formats include:

PCM audio up to 32-bit/384kHz.

Home Theatre Bypass – Flexible System Integration

The Home Theatre Bypass function allows the STR Integrated Amplifier to work together with a separate home theatre processor.

When activated, the selected analogue input bypasses the STR’s digital processing and volume control, allowing the home theatre processor to manage system volume.

This makes it possible to use the STR for high-quality two-channel music listening while integrating it into a multichannel home theatre system.

Premium Construction and Design

The Anthem STR Integrated Amplifier features a massive toroidal transformer, oversized filter capacitors and eight bipolar output devices per channel.

Its high-current amplifier section is designed to remain stable when driving demanding low-impedance loudspeakers. The large graphic front-panel display provides convenient access to setup, input selection and volume information.
